Every purchase in your workspace becomes an order: a completed checkout, an order you create by hand, or a payment you import from Stripe. The order list is where you check what was bought, whether it is paid, and what happened to it since.
From there, go to Payments > Sales > Orders. Payments is off in a new workspace. Switch it on under Settings > Features. Seeing orders needs View Payments. Creating, editing, deleting or marking orders as paid needs Update Orders / Customers.
What the list shows
Each row shows the Order ID, the Customer, the Amount, the Status, the Payment method, the Refunded amount and the Created date. Newest orders come first. For a pending order with a due date, such as a bank transfer or an invoice, the payment column also shows when it is due, in red once it is overdue.
The search box finds orders by order number or status. To narrow the list further, add a Condition: status, customer name or email, amount, payment method, currency, order ID or creation date.
Two kinds of orders are hidden by default. Test orders appear once you choose Show test orders in the toolbar menu, and a Mode column then tells Test and Live apart. Test orders are excluded from reports and affiliate payouts. Abandoned checkouts, which a buyer started but never paid, appear once you choose Show abandoned checkouts or filter by status yourself. They never count as sales.

Inside an order
Open an order with Edit in its row. The Overview shows the customer, the total with its breakdown, the status and the payment date. As soon as the order has an invoice, or once it is paid, Invoice (PDF) downloads the newest one, and the Invoices box lists all of them. If money can still be returned, Refund starts a refund, see Refunds and credit notes.
The other tabs hold the details: Items, Customer with the billing and shipping address, Payments, Refunds, Activity and Notes for an Internal note. You can change line items, the customer, the addresses, the status and the payment date, then Save. Each change is recorded in Activity. The status field never sets an order to paid, with one exception: a processing, shipped or delivered order can go back to paid.
Recording a payment that arrived
A pending order shows Payment outstanding on its overview. When the money has arrived, choose Mark as paid and confirm. Access, invoice, commissions and the confirmation email are then processed like after a completed checkout. Only pending orders can be marked as paid, and the status field cannot do it for you: it refuses to switch a pending order to paid.
Bank transfer, invoice, cash and PayPal orders keep their live or test mode when you mark them. A pending test order is completed as a test, and the button then reads Complete test purchase. A live order waiting for a Stripe card payment cannot be marked as paid: it switches to paid on its own once Stripe confirms the payment.
Creating an order by hand
Use the add button above the list to open New Order. It has three steps: Customer, Products and Payment.
- Pick an existing customer, or choose New Customer to add one.
- Add one or more products with their price and quantity. New Product creates a product on the spot and needs Manage Catalog (Products, Prices, Coupons). It is saved as a draft with one one-time price that includes tax, so it has no public checkout until you publish it. All items must use the same currency, and a recurring price or a payment plan cannot share an order with other pricing types.
- Choose how the order gets paid.
With Stripe Tax switched on, the order gets its tax from Stripe Tax based on the customer's billing address, and the invoice shows it. A reverse charge for business buyers is not applied to orders created by hand.
Mark as paid is for money you already received. Set Paid at and choose
Create Order: the order is saved as paid and processed right away. With the
switch Simulate test purchase, the button takes that name and the order is
saved as a paid test order instead. It runs through the same steps as a real
one: the buyer gets access, the emails go out and, if invoices are issued
automatically, an invoice with a TEST- number is created. It stays out of reports and affiliate payouts.

Stripe checkout link saves the order as pending. Generate checkout link then gives you a Checkout URL to copy and send. A checkout link can only be created while the order is a draft or pending. The order is marked paid once the customer completes the Stripe checkout. An order still unpaid 24 hours later is marked as abandoned and then shows only with Show abandoned checkouts or a status filter.
Exporting and importing
Export CSV in the toolbar menu downloads the orders the list currently shows, with your search, conditions and the test and abandoned switches applied. The file has the order number, status, date, customer name and email, subtotal, discount, tax, shipping, total, currency and a test flag.
Import from Stripe brings one-off Stripe payments into your order book, for example sales from before you used memberarea. Choose Live or Test, then List Stripe payments. memberarea fetches your 100 most recent Stripe payments and lists the succeeded one-off payments among them. Load more fetches the next 100. Subscription payments are left out, because subscriptions have their own import. A payment without a customer email cannot be imported, and where no product matches automatically you assign one. Grant access to imported buyers is on by default. No commission is calculated, and payments that were already imported are recognized, so running the import again is safe.
Delete is only available for pending or test orders that have no invoice. It removes the order permanently, together with its line items, payment records, refunds and affiliate commissions. Paid or refunded live orders stay for your records: cancel or refund them instead.
