Members see only the events they have access to, either through the event itself or through its calendar. This article walks through the member side, so you know what your settings look like for the people who come.
The Events page
Members open Events in their navigation. Depending on your settings they see the Calendar, the Week-Plan or both. With both views on, members switch between them, and their choice is remembered for next time.
The calendar list shows the calendars they can see. In the Calendar view, the three-dot menu of a calendar lets members Follow it to hear about new events, the search finds events by name, location or calendar, and widgets you placed in the side panel appear below the calendar. In the Week-Plan, Follow sits in the Calendars dropdown. Subscribe opens their calendar page in both views.
Live now
While an event a member can see is running, the navigation shows Live now with the event and a Join button. Join opens the meeting link in a new tab when the event has a web address as its location, otherwise it opens the event. The box checks for running events every 30 seconds.
Opening an event and replying
A click on an event opens its details with the date, the description, the location and the buttons you set up. With RSVP on, members reply directly with the answers you allowed: Going is always offered, Maybe and Can't go only when you switched them on. A member who already replied Going can withdraw or switch even after the registration deadline.
Instead of the reply buttons, members see a short status when they cannot reply: Event full, Registration closed or Past Event. A cancelled event shows "This event has been cancelled.", and a single cancelled date of a series shows "This date has been cancelled."
If you set a Custom URL, the event page has a readable address members can bookmark or share with other members.
Buying tickets
On a ticketed event, Select Tickets lists the tiers with their price, Free, Sold out or Sales closed. Members pick a quantity and click Checkout. One order holds one ticket type, so members who want two types buy them one after the other.
After the purchase, My tickets shows a ticket card for each ticket with a QR code and the Ticket code, plus the hint "Check in by code at the door". The ticket email carries the same QR code.

Waiting for a seat
When the event is full and you opened a waitlist, members see Join the waitlist. On the list they see their Position and can Leave the waitlist at any time.
When a seat frees up on a ticketed event, the member gets an email with a link and sees "A spot is reserved for you." on the event. After opening the link from the email, they also see Reserved until with the time. They need to buy the ticket before the time runs out. On a free event they become Going right away.
Join links and recordings
The buttons for Before the event, During the event and After the event appear on the event only within their time window. If a member opens such a link outside the window, the event shows "This link is not available right now."
Adding events to a calendar app
Add to calendar offers Apple, Google, Office 365, Outlook, Outlook.com and Yahoo. Apple downloads a calendar file. The other five open the calendar app in the browser with the event filled in. In a series, the chosen date is added.

Subscribing to calendars
Subscribe on the Events page opens Calendars, the member's own calendar page:
- Subscribe to all adds every calendar they can see to their calendar app. It appears once they can see two or more calendars.
- My events adds only the events they replied Going to.
- Each calendar has its own subscribe button, and Or copy the feed URL shows the address for apps that take a link.

Last synced shows when a calendar app last fetched the feed. Reset feed URL creates new addresses. Subscriptions with the old address stop updating, so members use it when a link got into the wrong hands.
These feeds are personal and need the member's access. To share a calendar with people who have no account, use the public subscribe page.
Reminders and notifications
Members get the reminders you set for an event, by push, email or in the app. They can switch reminders off under their profile notifications with Event reminders. This stops event reminders on every channel, and a followed calendar then announces new events only in the app, not by email. For each calendar they follow, Email me about new events decides whether a new event also arrives by email.
Leaving feedback
After the event, members see Leave feedback. They pick 1 to 5 stars, write Your comment if they like and can choose Submit anonymously. Send feedback saves it, and Edit feedback lets them change it later.
