Your members have a dashboard too, and it has nothing in common with yours. Yours reports on the business. Theirs is a start screen: what to continue, what is new, where to go next.
You build it once, for everyone, and publish it when it is ready.
Open the member dashboard editor
The default dashboard
Every new account starts with a dashboard that is already published. It is assembled from the features you have switched on: a welcome, an announcement, a checklist, the member's profile, their courses and progress, the community feed and leaderboard, upcoming events, orders and subscriptions, and a short FAQ.
Treat it as a starting point. Change any element, remove rows you do not need, and publish when it fits. If you emptied the editor and want the starting point back, Insert default dashboard in the empty editor brings it back.
Insert default dashboard publishes straight away. Every other change waits until you publish it.
Rows and elements
The page is built from rows stacked down the screen. Each row is divided into columns, and each column holds an element.
Add a row, choose how many columns it has, then drop elements into it. It is the same builder as hubs, so anything you have learned there applies here. Rows can carry a title, be moved, duplicated, deleted, and copied to the clipboard to paste into a hub or back into this dashboard.
The element catalog is grouped by area and only shows the areas you have switched on:

The Affiliate area appears together with Payments, because commissions are paid out of your sales. Buttons are part of the info and announcement elements, and images can link anywhere.
Wide elements need the room. The catalog greys out what does not fit the column you are adding to and shows the recommended width, and dropping a wide element into a narrow column tells you rather than squeezing it.
Elements your members interact with, such as a checklist, remember each member's own state.
Editor and preview
The switch in the header moves between Editor and Preview. The editor shows handles and controls; the preview shows the page as a member sees it.
Next to it sit desktop, tablet and mobile. Click tablet or mobile a second time to turn the preview sideways. Check mobile before you publish. A row of four columns is comfortable on a laptop and cramped on a phone, and the preview is where you find that out.
If your platform runs in more than one language, a language switch appears in the header. Elements are written in your main language first; switch the language to translate their text, by hand or with AI.
Publishing
Your edits are not live while you make them. The cloud icon in the header tells you which state you are in: a check means what members see matches what you built, a warning means you have unpublished changes.
Update Dashboard publishes. Its badge counts your unpublished changes, and Unpublished changes in the menu next to it lists them, so you can see what is about to go live. The button is active while there are unpublished changes, and also as soon as the dashboard has been published once, so you can always open the dialog to go back to an earlier version.
The publish dialog lets you give the new version a name and a description. Both are optional.
Members see the published version, never your work in progress. You can rebuild the whole page during business hours and nobody notices until you publish.
Versions
Every publish keeps the version before it. The publish dialog lists your current changes at the top, then the earlier versions, with the live one marked Active.
To go back, open Update Dashboard, select an earlier version and click Publish. That version goes live again, and your current changes stay in the editor untouched. An earlier version keeps its name and description; you can only fill them in for your current changes.
Different dashboards for different groups
A member group can skip this dashboard entirely. In the group's settings, Override the default dashboard lets you pick a hub, and members of that group land on the hub instead.
That is the way to give, for instance, your coaching clients a different start screen than your free members. Everyone without such a group sees this dashboard.
A member who belongs to several groups with an override sees the hub of only one of them. Keep the override on one group per member, so it is clear which hub they land on.
Reusing it as a hub
Clone to Hubs in the header menu copies the dashboard into a new hub, which is a quick way to start the hub for a group override above. The new hub counts towards your hub limit.
An empty dashboard
If the published dashboard has no rows, members see a short empty state rather than a broken page. Team members who can edit the dashboard see a Customize now button that leads straight to this editor.
