Every hub is a stack of rows. Each row is split into columns, and each column holds one element: a text, a video, a list of courses. This structure keeps hubs readable on any screen and lets you rearrange a page without starting over. This article explains how to build and change that structure in the editor.
Open a hub with Edit in the hub list. The editor shows your draft. Whatever you change here stays invisible to members until you publish.
Rows and their layouts
Click Add Row at the bottom of the page or between two rows. The dialog shows the tab Layout with ten layouts:
- one column at 100%
- two columns at 50% / 50%, 33% / 67%, 67% / 33%, 75% / 25% or 25% / 75%
- three columns at 33% / 33% / 33% or 25% / 50% / 25%
- four columns at 25% each
- five columns at 20% each
The row appears where you clicked, with an empty slot per column.

Each row has a header with a Title (Optional) field. In the preview, a row without a title shows no header at all. The brush button opens Accent line, a switch for the colored accent of the row. Once you flip it, Apply to all rows carries that choice to every row of the hub.
To change a row's layout later, click the small column preview in the row header, labelled Layout. A layout is greyed out when it does not fit: Some elements need a wider column means an element would become too narrow, The last columns still contain elements means you would lose columns that are not empty. Move or delete those elements first.
Move and remove rows
Use the arrow buttons to move a row up or down, or drag it by its handle. The row header also holds Duplicate, which inserts a copy right below, Copy and Delete. Deleting asks for confirmation: "Do you really want to delete the entire row? All elements in it will be deleted!"
Copy rows between hubs
Copy puts a reference to the row on your clipboard. In any hub of your workspace, click Paste from clipboard next to Add Row, and the row arrives with its title, layout, accent line and all its elements. If the browser does not allow reading the clipboard, a prompt asks you to paste the row reference by hand.
Add elements
Click Add Element in an empty column. The element picker groups elements into categories and has a search that matches names and descriptions. Each card shows the widths the element supports. An element that does not fit the column is marked Not available in this column width. Elements that work at any width show All sizes.

Clicking a card opens a preview, where you can switch between Demo content and Empty state. Add element places the element; it stays disabled when the element does not fit the column. The new element is saved right away and its settings open next to it. From then on, changes save automatically shortly after you stop typing. The header shows Saving, Saved or, if something went wrong, Saving failed.
The full list of elements is in Element types reference.
Change, move and copy elements
The element toolbar holds the settings. Depending on the element, you also find Layout for its visual variant and Box for its frame. The element menu has:
- Duplicate element, only shown while the row still has a free column
- Copy element, for pasting into an empty column with Paste from clipboard
- Delete element, which asks Delete element? before it removes anything
To move an element, drag it to another column, in the same row or in another row. If you drop it onto a full row with equal columns, that row gets one more column, up to five. Two messages can stop the move: This element needs a wider column and No free column in this row.
Check before you publish
Switch between Editor and Preview in the header. The preview hides the editing controls, shows empty columns as blank space, and lets you check the page on Desktop, Tablet and Mobile.
The publish button in the header shows a number for the elements added, removed or changed since the last publish, plus one if the number of rows changed. Changes to titles, layouts or the order of rows are not counted, but they still make the button active.
Publishing is explained in Hub templates and publishing.
