Facebook publishes to Pages. A personal profile cannot be connected at all, which is Facebook's rule for every tool of this kind.
What you need on your account
- A Facebook Page. If you do not have one, create it first; it takes two minutes.
- An admin role on that Page. Editor is not enough to grant publishing access.
Connecting it
- Open Social Media, then Channels.
- Click Connect on the Facebook tile.
- On Meta's screen tick the Page you want to post to, then confirm.
- Granted more than one Page? We then ask which one to wire up.
What it can do
- Text posts
- Images and video
- Link previews
- First comment
- Scheduling and the calendar
- Comments and messages in the inbox
What it cannot do yet
- Posts to a personal profile
- Posts to a group
- Events and offers
When it does not work
No Facebook Page was found. Your account holds no Page, or only a Page where you are not an admin. Both are visible in Facebook under Pages.
The Page posts but the inbox stays empty. The webhook subscription did not take. Open the kebab menu on the channel row and pick Resubscribe.
